Our Mulberry Practice is a Specialist Centre for patients that are:

  • Seeking asylum in the UK
  • Homeless
  • Living in a hostal or temporary accommodation
  • And living in Sheffield
We have a team with a vast knowledge and experience in dealing with the complex issues that these client groups often have and recognise the problems faced in accessing mainstream services.  We have a dedicated team of clinical and administrative staff who have links with partner organisations and can support our patients in accessing these.  If you do not fall into one of the above categories, the Mulberry Practice is collocated with our City Practice and you may register under this practice and access care from the same building.

New Arrivals

The practice generally sees new arrivals to the country on Wednesdays.  You will be asked to attend the surgery and sit and wait until a GP or Nurse sees you.  They will assess your health history, complete some basic screening tests and identify and support with any further needs.

Advance Appointments

You may be booked advance appointments by a Nurse or GP or by requesting an appointment from reception either by ringing 0114 305 4050 or by visiting reception.

Same Day Appointments

If you need to see someone today, you can visit our drop-in clinics each morning (except Wednesdays when we concentrate on new arrivals) where you will be asked to sit and wait until a Nurse becomes available.

Interpreters

If you require an interpreter, please ask at the time of booking.
